    BOARD MEMBER

    Candice Evans-Waite is a proud Indigenous mother, entrepreneur, and lifelong advocate for youth and community. With deep roots in northern Saskatchewan, she has dedicated her career to uplifting Indigenous voices and creating safe, empowering spaces for youth through mentorship, business, and cultural connection. Her work spans wellness, tourism, and consulting, always grounded in a commitment to community-driven change.

  • Milton Tootoosis

    BOARD MEMBER

    Milton is an innovator, a leader, a connector and the founder of many economic development initiatives. He was raised on the Poundmaker Indian Reserve west of the Battleford’s in his ancestral territory of the sipi iyiniwak (The River People), part of Treaty Six Territory, Saskatchewan. Milton draws on his experience as trustee for his nation and as an elected Headman from 2016 to 2021 for the Poundmaker Cree Nation. Milton has an understanding about the spirit and intent of the treaty from a First Nations perspective and its connection to economic reconciliation today. He is the Chief Economic Reconciliation Officer (CERO) at SREDA.

  • Carlin Nordstrom

    FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Carlin played NCAA Division 1 hockey in Michigan and then played a four-year career in the AHL, IHL, ECHL, and the NHL with the Ottawa Senators. Following his retirement from hockey, Carlin became the owner/manager of Cree Nation Outfitters, a business that catered to avid American hunters and fishermen. This experience inspired him to start KÎSIK Youth Wellness and devote his life to transforming the lives of Indigenous and at-risk youth.
